Yellow Poplar (liriodendron tulipferia)
Yellow Poplar is a fairly soft hardwood that has a light appearance-sometimes even slightly green. This wood is very friendly for woodworking, painting, and staining. It is available in many sizes, including wide boards. It is a predominant species in our forests and has an exceptional regeneration ration, making it extremely sustainable as saw-timber.
